FAQ

Straight answers to the first ten questions.

If a promise is not operationally established — hours, 24/7 coverage, certifications — we will not invent it here.

Do you come to homes, or do I drop the computer off?+

Coming to you is the default. We visit homes and small offices around Houston. If a repair is safer on a bench, we say so before we take the machine.

Do you work on both PCs and Macs?+

Yes. Windows and macOS are both part of everyday work at The Nerd Network.

Do you help homes and businesses?+

Yes. Residential, commercial, and small-business support are all in scope — the same technicians, the same plain explanations.

Which areas of Houston do you serve?+

Houston and surrounding communities including The Woodlands, Spring, Conroe, Tomball, Magnolia, Cypress, Katy, Richmond, River Oaks, and Sugar Land.

Can you set up a new computer and move my files?+

Yes. File transfer, email, printers, and a walkthrough so the new machine is ready the same visit whenever possible.

Do you remove viruses and malware?+

Yes. We clean what we can, tell you if a wipe is safer, and help lock down passwords and backups afterward.

Can you fix Wi-Fi dead zones?+

Usually. We walk the space, then recommend the smallest change that covers the rooms you named — not a stack of random extenders.

Do you offer 24/7 emergency coverage?+

Only if a written agreement says so. Do not assume after-hours staffing from the website.

Will you try to sell me a new computer every visit?+

No. If a repair or upgrade is the smarter spend, we say that. If replacement is cheaper than a dying machine, we say that too.
